About This Project

West Hollywood Landscaping by RainforestLA, Inc. Positioned centrally in West Hollywood, this landscape by RainforestLA, Inc. exemplifies the utmost in landscaped space design and function. As a company that serves West Hollywood and the greater Los Angeles County area, we were tasked with designing a residential outdoor space that promotes elegant aesthetics with sustainability as a main design feature. The design process began with a complete site analysis, which allowed us to identify the distinctive elements of the space, such as sun exposure, soil type, and other existing flora. Our design incorporates a palette of native and drought-tolerant plants that ensure year-round enjoyment while conserving water. The materials were selected to fit the contemporary, chic, West Hollywood vibe, using locally sourced stone for the pathways, reclaimed wood for the garden borders, and high-quality mulch to feed the soil health. The design's main feature is a stunning terrace with multiple levels that can function as both an entertainment space, and a tranquil oasis. The terrace includes a custom-built fire pit surrounded by colorful built-in seating, creating the perfect backyard spot under the stars. We engineered an impressive drainage system to manage water runoff so that heavy rains would not degrade the site, given the site's sloping grade. The result speaks for itself: if you can imagine green plant material, flowering plants, and thoughtful ambient lighting that while it may be dark at night, will still play a role in lighting up the outdoor space as well as creating a natural aesthetic. The client's attention to detail and quality craftsmanship could not have been more apparent, as is evident in their joyful expression after the was completed. Our work is enriching the outdoor space that serves as an oasis from the frenzy of West Hollywood urban life.
