The Traditional Southern Farmhouse Baths project represents a remarkable transformation within a historic home, where no corner was left untouched in the extensive renovation. The former primary bedroom was artfully repurposed into a main floor guest suite, allowing for a seamless flow throughout the space while requiring minimal structural changes. This strategic relocation of the closet provided the perfect opportunity to reposition the ensuite bath, capitalizing on the breathtaking views by placing a stunning clawfoot slipper tub directly in front of a new window. With a width of just five and a half feet, the bathroom layout demanded careful consideration; however, the design team excelled in maximizing the area. By introducing two windows flanking the vanity mirror, the compact space is imbued with an airy, open feel, making it both inviting and functional. The use of full-height black wall tiles adds a striking visual impact, creating a bold contrast with the custom walnut vanity, which exudes warmth and craftsmanship. In the adjacent powder room, a clever conversion of the former hall bathroom, the design took a more adventurous turn. Here, whimsical elements were introduced, inspired by a charming bird painting gifted to the homeowner. The custom wall color, matched to the bird’s vibrant red crown, infuses the space with personality, while the luxurious black marble hexagon floor tiles provide a sophisticated foundation for the eye-catching brass console sink. The vanity light, designed in the shape of a pineapple, serves as a symbol of hospitality and reflects the homeowner’s passion for entertaining guests. Overall, the Traditional Southern Farmhouse Baths project blends timeless elegance with modern functionality, resulting in spaces that are both vibrant and serene, perfectly suited for relaxation and enjoyment.
