About This Project

English Influence Garden by Tierra Gardens GC, LLC 'English Influence Garden' designed and built by Tierra Gardens GC, LLC took place in the heart of the Denver Metro area. This is a lovely combination of timeless elegance and contemporary utility. The English garden style fulfills even the strictest interpretation, with its lush perennial border and fragrant roses, and the ever-present boxwood hedges provide a beautiful and relaxing setting. At the outset, we had to move the rectangular backyard from a sloped, rather challenging and boring space into a garden. We utilized terraced planting beds to accommodate the height difference in elevation. All of the walls were constructed with local natural stone that fit perfectly into the garden aesthetic, and, of course, the reclaimed brick paver pathways added a traditional touch that spoke to an English garden while being fully functional. We strategically selected plants that have blooming seasons, so each plant would contribute vibrant color throughout the spring, summer and fall. The ornamental grasses provided texture and movement, adding further interest to the landscape. We added seating areas for reading and sipping tea on those beautiful afternoons to also enhance the outdoor experience. To ensure low maintenance and efficient water use, all plants are native and the irrigation systems are sustainable. The result is a stunning garden that elicits the English garden style for a wonderful outdoor retreat that would benefit anyone's senses. The client, delighted with the , told us the family has thoroughly enjoyed their outdoor living experience, and has even had the fair weather to gather with family and friends alike for reminiscing.
