Overview: Beach House by RIALTO STUDIO INC RIALTO STUDIO INC is thrilled to highlight the 'Beach House' landscaping installation, an extraordinary transformation in the picturesque city of San Antonio, representing the charming neighborhoods of Alamo Heights, Castle Hills, Leon Valley, Olmos Park, and Terrell Hills. The design is influenced by the coastal style, with the calmness of living near the beach combined with the natural vibrancy of Texas native plants. The design was created with a welcoming path made from reclaimed wood, leading visitors to a sunny patio with custom-built lounge chairs and tables made from high-quality, weather-resistant materials. The pool with an infinity edge became a centerpiece of the backyard. The infinity edge blends seamlessly into the landscape, transforming the space into a peaceful retreat. We included drought-resistant, native plants around the pool, including color and textural variation with bright-colored hibiscus and ornamental grasses, all while minimizing water consumption. The most significant challenge faced was the site's sliding hill. Because of this, RIALTO STUDIO INC faced the challenge of grading the slope as well as calculating the drainage. Grading and drainage was managed with high-end drainage solutions, maintaining the landscape in heavy rains while prolonging the health of plants and structures. RIALTO STUDIO INC utilized the highest quality, environmentally sustainable materials at every level of this application, from the sustainably harvested wood used in the decking to the local stone sourced for the retaining walls. By using sustainable materials, RIALTO STUDIO INC not only improved the aesthetics of design but also supported the longevity of every detail. The outcome of the is a beautiful landscape that does not just captivate the surprise of the client, but serves a functional purpose in the day-to-day use of the outdoor living space for family events and relaxing. The client conveyed an overwhelming sense of satisfaction in that the completed honored their original vision for a coastal style retreat that would elegantly blend nature into their back yard.
