Orr Front Entry by Sutton Outdoor, LLC Sutton Outdoor, LLC is thrilled to present 'Orr Front Entry', a stylish landscaping completed in Kanas City. The overall objective of the was to make the front entry of the home more aesthetically appealing and functional, providing an attractive entry that embodies the homeowner’s personality and fits within the context of the existing landscape. The design incorporates a beautiful stone walkway that showcases locally sourced flagstone for a durable and sophisticated pathway. Flowing adjacent to the path are flower beds with vibrant perennial flowers rotating in bursts of color, carefully selected to provide interest throughout a majority of the year. Native plants were employed to promote sustainability requiring the least amount of maintenance while providing settings for pollinators that live locally. One of the significant issues the faced was the existing grading of the property, which made it difficult to properly integrate the new landscaping into the natural features of the property. Our team leveled the site, using terracing to provide necessary drainage and visual interest to the landscape. The included subtle outdoor lighting to enhance the atmosphere while providing lighting for safety along the pathway and highlighting the home’s architecture. A wooden arbor was custom built and planted with climbing vines to create a focal point and draw the eye, providing a welcoming entry point for guests. The final product is a stunning front entry that met the homeowner’s expectations. The combination of thoughtful design, materials, and craftsmanship created an inviting new front entry that can function for gatherings or sitting quietly in the beauty of the landscape.
