Waterscapes by Professional Landscape Services, Inc. Located in Bucks County, Waterscapes is a we reimagined outdoor living for a client in New Hope, Pennsyvlania. Professional Landscape Services, Inc. renovated a flat backyard into a amazing outdoor space with the harmonious union of nature and modern design. The biggest part of the was a beautiful, multi-tiered water feature complete with a waterfall and koi pond. The waterfall was built with natural stone harvested locally; the waterfall is a stunning visual focal point, the soothing sound of water running adds to the peace and tranquility of the space. Edging the pond were selectively chosen native plant varieties, including water lilies and ferns, which blend seamlessly with the surrounding environment. One challenge we faced in this was the sloped conditions of the backyard space. Our team harnessed the slope as an opportunity to create an enjoyable and functional landscape. The team designed a series of stone terraces that provided block drainage and additional growing space. This solution enhanced the beauty of the landscape while providing a better buffer zone for heavy rains. Lastly, we updated the design with a custom built wooden deck space that is suitable for social events or quiet evenings watching the water. The wood provided natural beauty near the green space and the new outdoor lights showcased the water feature. After sunset, people who visit the home are transported to another place with the ambience created by the water and lights. Overall, the design prepared and finalized with our client is a stunning landscape that exudes peace and sophistication. The client, who lives on site, can now enjoy friends and family visiting in a gorgeous setting for social gatherings or solitude.
