Edible Landscaping by My Landscape Guide At My Landscape Guide, we are proud to exhibit our capabilities in creating sustainable, beautiful outdoor spaces with our most recent , ‘Edible Landscaping.’ Our exciting serves the active communities of La Vergne, Lascassas, Murfreesboro, Rockvale, Smyrna, Walterhill, Nashville, Franklin, Brentwood, Nolensville, Spring Hill, Goodlettsville, Antioch, Madison, and Leiper's Fork and was designed to combine beauty and function. The intention was to change a standard garden to an experience edible landscape that would provide fresh produce and augment the beauty of the property. Our team carefully curated a diverse selection of plants, including fruit trees, herbs, and vegetable beds, based on what will grow well in the existing climate and native soils. One element of design we needed to address was how to orient the garden so that it maximizes sun and gives a proper space to be maintained and harvested. After careful planning, we incorporated innovative design and created tiered beds, some with trellises, to allow climbing plants to thrive without casting shade on surrounding plant beds. Our team amended soil with high-quality, organic plant additives to promote good growth and a bountiful harvest. We chose the materials for pathways that would retain their durability and be aesthetically pleasing. Our incorporated reclaimed wood for edging beds and permeable pavers for pathways to achieve a rustic charm that better matched the environment. We further showcased sustainability when we added a rainwater collection system to the landscape to conserve water and provide eco-friendly irrigation. The experience culminated with the client expressing excitement over their new edible landscape. The client's expressed "culinary", wants at the start of our translated to an entertaining space for family and friends too. The converted their former backyard into an internet of activity; colorful, fragrant, and full of seasonal produce possibilities. Nothing than getting to pick fresh tomatoes, salad greens, and herbs from the backyard could have rewarded the new home owner more of a satisfaction. In every small detail - plant selection to the finishing comments - My Landscape Guide successfully executed a combination of beautiful, sustainable, and functional landscaping to produce an example of rites and design that raises the level of landscaping in the region.
