~ Head of the Harbor Backyard Pond The Head of the Harbor Backyard Pond features a stunning transformation that redefines outdoor living in a tranquil setting, by Emil Kreye & Son Inc. This backyard oasis includes a beautifully designed pond, which can blend into the surrounding landscape while adding to aesthetics and tranquility, located in scenic Head of the Harbor. Facing several challenges such as a difficult gradient and rocky hills, our team was able to engineer out some creative solutions to address these issues. Utilising robust natural stone for the pond banks, we designed a coherent integration into the neighbouring topography, creating a cascading waterfall providing movement and sound in the landscape. A high-end, natural pond liner surrounds the pond so that it can last as long as possible with minimal maintenance. The is supplemented by a range of aquatic plants to promote biodiversity and LED lighting helps highlight the pond at night, creating a magical ambience. Thoughtfully, they added a natural stone patio around the pond area that provides the perfect space to congregate and enjoy the serenity of the environment. Emil Kreye & Son Inc used local material with meticulous workmanship to promote sustainability and assure a perfect blend with nature. The end product is a stunning outdoor oasis that our customer is proud to show off and has a space that he can call his own, where nature and serenity exist!
