Our clients sought a harmonious balance between modern updates and the preservation of the home's original character, which guided our design choices throughout the process. In the smaller bath, we reconfigured the layout to significantly increase the shower size, providing a more luxurious and comfortable experience. The addition of a bidet not only elevated comfort but also aligned with contemporary trends in bathroom design. Careful consideration was given to materials, ensuring that the updated fixtures and finishes complemented the existing craftsman style. The main bath received a thoughtful update, maintaining its original charm while incorporating modern amenities, striking the perfect balance between old and new. The laundry room was another focal point of the remodel. Moving the washer and dryer upstairs allowed for a seamless integration of laundry and mudroom functionality. We constructed a dedicated closet, providing ample storage space for essentials while ensuring a tidy, organized environment. The previous linoleum flooring was replaced with durable slate tile, enhancing the room’s resilience and adding a touch of elegance.
