Situated on a picturesque hilltop in Shawnee, KS, the Shawnee Hilltop project exemplifies contemporary design with a focus on clean lines and geometric forms. This transformative endeavor involved the complete renovation of an outdated pool, giving way to a sleek, L-shaped lap pool that harmonizes with the modern aesthetic of the home. Adjacent to the lap pool is a thoughtfully designed square toddler pool, ensuring safety and enjoyment for younger family members. The surrounding area has been meticulously crafted with EW Gold rock sourced from eastern Missouri, enhancing the overall sophistication of the space. This choice of material not only provides a stunning visual contrast but also reflects the homeowners' desire for a refined look that stands out against the lush greenery of the softscape. Retaining walls were integrated into the design, creating an inviting enclosure for the landscape and providing a seamless transition from the pool area to the surrounding gardens. A striking fire feature serves as a focal point within the outdoor space, constructed from six large pieces of stone and filled with decorative slag glass rock.
