Situated in the beautiful Medina neighborhood of Greater Seattle, WA. अद्भुत परिदृश्य कला और देखभाल का रूप उदाहरण। This turned a wild overgrown back yard into a tranquil peaceful outdoor activity area that allows for both natural beauty and landscape functionality. The first task of our team was to conduct site analysis to pinpoint challenges on the site like contoured land and damp conditions. Designing a tiered garden helped us mitigate these problem areas, and we went a step further by using mostly local curb stone to build the retaining walls, which besides preventing soil movement also provided an aesthetic touch of rusticity. A bespoke drainage system kept the garden verdant in rainy seasons, a frequent occurrence in this region. The Medina Garden features an impressive water element made entirely of natural boulders, which are further adorned with aquatic plants. Home to local wildlife, it creates a still pond that is a calming backdrop to the gentle sound of flowing water. We planted a variety of native shrubs and perennials around the pond for color throughout the year and to attract pollinators. We also used organic mulch and native plants that do not need much water, since we promote environmental-oriented landscaping concepts including sustainability. We then finished off the garden with a winding flagstone path, leading visitors through the colorful plantings and welcoming them in. The outcome is an impressive space, that adds property value, but more importantly brings joy to the homeowners and their visitors.
