Landscape Design | Bella Terra Landscapes, LLC Bella Terra Landscapes, LLC is excited to reveal another complete landscape design in the quaint community of Palmyra. The purpose of this was to take an average, everyday yard and turn it into a backyard retreat that matched the client and provided significant curb appeal to the property. The site analysis formed the basis of our , exploring key features and obstacles: uneven land, and areas that don't receive sun. To mitigate these problems, we designed a multi-level garden, with native plants appropriate for the Palmyra climate. Choosing the right materials was especially important; we knew we wanted quality stone for the paths and retaining walls, locally acquired, naturally, the durable kind that suits the style and ambiance of the neighbourhood. The landscaping consisted of a stunning mix of perennials, ornamental grasses, and flowering shrubs, all cleverly positioned to give a variety of interest and color throughout the seasons. As for the functionality, we added a custom fire pit with seating to accommodate family and friends. Well-positioned low-powered LED lights were then installed to illuminate the beauty of the landscape at night while making it safer and more functional. We encountered challenges throughout the , such as storms that impacted installation. That said, the quality of his work and making sure the clients where happy dictated us to change our schedule a bit and use trade grade material that can withstand adverse weather conditions. The final product was an amazing landscape beyond the satisfaction of the client, incorporating amazing gardens, tree lined paths and a place to listen to the birds sing the very spot where they gather bringing the sense of outdoors living to their home. Needless to say, the client was over the moon with the results, complimenting us on our meticulous work and the way their ideas had been effortlessly incorporated into the design.
