Hively Landscaping Inc. is excited to showcase the transformation of a residential outdoor area in Naperville, as part of our mission of beautifying the Western suburbs of Chicago, including Plainfield, Bolingbrook, and Oswego. This features stunning bluestone and brick paving, combined with natural boulder walls for function and beauty. The design includes a carefully constructed patio area with large, dark blue bluestone slabs meeting rustic style, light colored brick pavers for a warm, inviting gathering and entertaining area. In addition to adding character, the boulder walls provide an effective means of retaining the sloping grade of the property. A critical challenge we faced was designing a proper drainage solution that did not seem out of place in the landscape design. Our team of skilled artisans developed a drainage solution that integrated nicely into the overall aesthetic of the , as well as prevented pooling of water and protected the material’s integrity.
