About This Project

### 'Various' Landscaping The 'Various' landscaping , completed by Stonish's Lawn Care & Snowplowing Inc., highlights our dedication to quality and imagination in landscaping. With clients in Amherst, Bowmansville, Buffalo, and surrounding towns, we knew we had to produce a that not only met our client's needs but also was a beautiful outdoor retreat, and we hit a home run! The consisted of transforming the client's backyard into a retreat. We designed a multi-level patio made from the highest quality locally sourced Bluestone. Bluestone produces a solid walking surface and blends well with the surrounding landscape. We even had custom-cut stones made to get a seamless transition to the different levels. In addition to the amazing Bluestone patio, we produced a fantastic fire pit with seating arrangements that allowed our clients to have friends and family over for gatherings throughout the seasons! In addition to the hardscaping, we installed colorful perennial gardens with native plants that would grow and thrive well in the area. In order to achieve low maintenance living with an increase in biodiversity, we selected materials, such as natural stone and reclaimed wood, to create raised timber stone garden beds which added height and structure to the area. One of the challenges of the was the slope of the yard; as a result, we had to make significant grading adjustments and create adequate drainage solutions to correct water pooling. Our team constructed an efficient drainage concept that addressed the concerns of pooling, while greatly improving the function of the outdoor space. In the end, we were able to achieve a mix of hardscape along with softscape, which truly is what created happiness for our client. The improved the attractiveness of the home, and changed the backyard into a place for family gatherings and downtime.
