Brothers Dan and Kevin Stanza from St. Louis entered the landscaping business because of their father, Glenn, who owned a contracting business. As children, they assisted Glenn with basic jobs; weeding landscaping beds, planting shrubs, and spreading mulch. Once they assisted Glenn in constructing their first pond, they became captivated by the water gardening business. After Dan graduated from college, he lived in multiple cities before returning to Kansas City, which was his home for several years until God guided him to join with Kevin and form Good Earth Water Gardens. Dan's corporate career never appealed to him, so he continued working in what he knew, resulting in the formation of Good Earth Water Gardens.
