Landsystems and Associates is a team collaboration of professionals with over 40 years of experience in ecological site-appropriate landscape design founded in 1986 by Linda Shotwell. The depth of services delivered and its successful execution is harnessed due to an extensive network of local consultants and excellent relational standing with local agencies. Linda Shotwell, principal designer, firmly believes in innovative design solutions incorporating function, style and budget. Her work includes conceptual and final designs, specifications and detailing, field construction administration, contract negotiations, project management, budgeting and scheduling. She combines 30+ years of field experience to each project. Linda′s significant project experience includes landscape design and specifications for the Gold LEED Certified Hayward Building Systems Facility in Santa Maria, California. Planning, specifications, and construction administration of a 1,600-acre watershed restoration process was another career highlight. This project was done with the Morro Bay National Estuary Program as part of environmental restoration and protection efforts administered by the Environmental Projection Agency and the Regional Water Quality Control Board. She is the recipient of the Obispo Beautiful Award: Residential Landscape Design and CLGA Statewide Trophy Award (1st place).
