About The Cultural Landscape Foundation

The Cultural Landscape Foundation is a Landscape Design professional based in Washington, D.C., serving Palm Beach, Sarasota, Dallas, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Atlanta, New York, and....

TCLF was incorporated as a nonprofit organization in 1998 in order to provide resources for people to view, learn about and appreciate landscape architecture and its designers in the same manner that they have done with buildings and their architects. TCLF's mission has been accomplished by utilising its website, lectures, outreach, and publishing activities to provide nationwide support and understanding of cultural landscapes as a means to preserve our cultural heritage for future generations. In addition to promoting the understanding of landscape architecture, TCLF places special emphasis on raising the awareness of individuals who are involved in or affect cultural landscapes, as well as providing resources to groups and organisations that work to increase an appreciation and understanding of cultural landscapes, and developing educational tools for young people that help connect them with their surrounding cultural landscapes.
