The Lawn Manicurist is a locally owned family business. The founding family, Mark and Donna Stettler, were born and raised in Boise and now reside in Nampa, Idaho. The company has operated for over 25 years in the Treasure Valley area. It started out as a basic mowing service for residential and commercial customers and has evolved into a full-service yard maintenance and pest control company. Mark started mowing lawns at the age of 10 and this laid the foundation for his career in the lawn care industry. After graduating from BSU and meeting Donna at college, they decided to work full time with the mowing services for residential small commercial customers they had both worked for before attending college. Over time, the business has expanded to offer a complete line of services including pest control, plant health, and tree maintenance. We have brought together management and foreman with many years of experience caring for large, 20-acre associations and have developed a team of professionals who are experienced in maintaining all types of properties, including large businesses, apartments, and homeowner associations. As a company, we want to continue to be a leader in educating our staff on the subjects of plant health, tree care, proper trimming techniques, pest management, and managing water resources. We have developed strong relationships with suppliers who provide us with the best quality products to help us educate our staff and customers. Additionally, we have developed a network of Dr.'s of soil science and weed science whom we can access at all times on-site for assistance. Some of our qualifications include certification in pesticide application of ornamental insecticides, ornamental herbicides, general pest management, public health, lawn care law, and back flow testing. Additionally, we are highly skilled at maintaining and managing shrubs, trees, and are in the process of certifying some of our team members as Arborists.
