Overcoming the limitations of high-intensity discharge lighting systems, the SolarSystem 550 LED grow light system offers programmable spectrum control over multiple wavelengths. It operates at a frequency of 50-60 Hz and draws a maximum current of 3.3A @ 120 V, 1.65 A @ 240 V. Power consumption ranges from 0-400 W, which is exceptional compared to traditional UVB grow lights.

The SolarSystem controller works only with the California LightWorks SolarSystem 1100, 550, and 275. It can control an unlimited number of lights from a single controller. It allows automated programming for spectrum control, 24-hour timer, and day/week/month calendar. Now it is possible to program an entire grow cycle automatically – varying the spectrum, the length of the day, transitions from veg to bloom, final finishing modes, sunrise/sunset – all in a low cost easy to program digital controller.

The SolarSystem Controller features programmable 0% to 99% spectrum control over three spectrum ranges – Blue, White and Red. You can use the controller in manual mode only to adjust the light spectrum or use the digital clock and calendar to run custom light recipes over a day, week, month or entire season. Programs can be saved for specific crops or strains. You can also use the view mode to work in natural white light and then switch back to high power reds and blues for accelerated growth.

The SolarSystem 1100 (SS 1100) represents the most powerful horticulture LED lights we’ve ever made. The SS 1100 is lightweight yet puts out more light than much larger LED grow lights and will replace a 1000-watt HPS system. Powerful enough for veg or bloom, the SS 1100 features fully programmable spectrum control with the optional SolarSystem Controller.

The SolarSystem 1100 UVB (SS 1100UVB) combines our two most powerful commercial LED grow lights—the SolarSystem 1100 and the SolarSystem UVB—into one powerhouse package. Included in the package is one (1) SolarSystem 1100, two (2) SolarSystem UVBs, and a pair of special brackets to mount the SolarSystem UVBs to the SolarSystem 1100. This is a perfect setup for fans of the discontinued SolarStorm 880. 

The SolarSystem 1100 UVB is ideal as one grow light system in a tent or with multiple units chained together in a larger application. During the last two weeks of flower before harvest, chain the UVBs together for power and connect them to a timer for maximum output.

The SolarSystem 1100 UVB offers a 5’ x 5’ bloom coverage area. The SolarXtreme 1000 is an easy to use full-spectrum LED grow light designed especially for grow tents and smaller-scale home growing. Covering 25 square feet, it is one of our most productivity-enhancing LED grow lights. 

The SolarXtreme series uses a revolutionary new generation of COB (chip on board), as well as new direct AC drive technology, which eliminates the need for LED drivers that can turn large LED lights into energy guzzlers. This offers high-efficiency LEDs at a much lower cost than traditional LEDs. This fixture puts out a full spectrum suitable for all phases of growth without the need for adjusting.

The SolarXtreme 250 is one of our easiest to use full-spectrum LED grow lights. Designed especially for grow tents and smaller scale home growing, this low-power grow light system draws just 200 watts with a maximum current of 1.6 amps at 120 volts. 

The SolarXtreme series features a COB (chip on board) design and utilizes a direct AC drive, so LED drivers are not needed.
