Returns Information and Eligibility

We at Growcycle appreciate your business and trust in our products. Should you need to make a return, we accept most unopened items within a 30-day period from the date of purchase for a full refund. Please be aware, however, that there are certain exceptions.

The following items are not eligible for return:

  • Special Order Items
  • Soils & Mediums
  • Nutrients and Fertilizers
  • Liquids
  • Cones and Cone Filling Machines
  • Trimming Machines
  • Lamps (bulbs)
  • Grow Tents
  • Air Conditioners
  • Trays
  • Hoop Houses
  • Harvest Tools
  • Discontinued Products
  • Clearance Items 

Additionally, please note that Current Culture Deep Water Culture systems are custom-made upon order and, as such, are not returnable for credit.

Craft Farmer will generally not accept returns that fall within 14 days after receipt of shipment. 

For Harvest Right products, returns are generally not accepted. Except for defective products, Harvest Right is not obligated to accept any returns. If returns are accepted, Harvest Right reserves the right to impose a reasonable restocking charge of 15%.

We kindly request that you keep all packaging materials for the item(s) you have purchased until you are fully satisfied with their condition and performance. This will greatly facilitate the return process should it become necessary.

To be eligible for a return, all items must be unopened, in their new and original condition, and returned in the original packaging. This includes all paperwork, parts, and accessories that came with the product.

Unopened Returns (Within 30 Days of Purchase)

Most unopened items purchased from are eligible for return within 10 days from the date you receive your shipment. However, please be aware that the following items are excluded from this policy: Clearance Items, Special Order Items, Deep Water Culture Systems, Nutrients, Fertilizers, Cones, Cone Filling Machines, Trimming Machines, Grow Tents, Hoop Houses, and Harvest Tools. Additionally, certain products may have specific return policies or requirements.

Upon receiving and inspecting the returned product by our vendor partners, we will process your refund. Please note that this refund will be issued to the original payment method, minus any applicable shipping and/or restocking fees. Shipping charges are not refundable. Please also be aware that orders canceled after being shipped will be treated as Unopened Returns and may incur shipping and restocking fees, if applicable.

Please note, items obtained through a "FREE" promotion on are ineligible for refunds. Additionally, if a discount was applied based on the quantity of the purchase, this discount will be adjusted in any refunds, should the retained quantity fall below the minimum required for the discount.

Growcycle’s Prior Authorization Requirement 

All returns to Growcycle require prior authorization. Please refrain from sending back items without the approval from, as unauthorized returns will be sent back to the original sender. You can request a return via phone, email, or through our website. Following your request, we will send you an email detailing the return address for the return and provide specific instructions for sending back the item(s).

Guidelines For Returns Of Unopened Returned Item(s) 

To be eligible for a return at Growcycle, the merchandise must meet the conditions set forth below. 

  • Condition of Merchandise: Items must be new and in resalable condition. This includes being free from scratches, dents, or any cosmetic defects. The products should not have been used or installed in any way.

  • Packaging Requirements: Products must be returned in the original, undamaged manufacturer’s packaging. This packaging must be placed inside a plain brown shipping box (over-boxing/double-boxing). Please avoid returning products in the manufacturer’s packaging without additional over-boxing.

  • Complete Returns: Ensure the return includes all informational brochures, installation guides, cords, and accessories that came with the product.

  • Special Order Items: Items that are specially ordered may not be returned for a refund. They can only be replaced if found defective or damaged in transit.

  • Condition for Acceptance: reserves the right to refuse a return if the item is not in like-new condition or if the manufacturer’s packaging is damaged or missing. Ensure the manufacturer’s packaging is adequately protected with a plain brown shipping box.

  • Shipping Responsibilities: You are responsible for the return shipping costs. Items must be sent back to the designated location in the same condition they were received. For your protection, we highly recommend insuring your return package with your chosen carrier. In the event of damage, loss, or theft during transit back to the warehouse, cannot be held responsible.

How to Request A Return For Unopened Items 

To initiate a return with Growcycle, you have several convenient options for notifying us of your request. 

Remember, all returns need prior authorization from Growcycle.

Packing and Shipping Your Return

  • Original Packaging: Ensure that the item is in its original manufacturer’s packaging, then place it inside a separate shipping box to avoid any damage.
  • Clearing Old Labels: Remove or cover any previous shipping labels, stickers, or materials on the outer shipping box. A black marker can be effective for covering old labels or barcodes.
  • Addressing the Package: Send your package to the fulfillment center address provided in your Return Authorization paperwork. Note that returns do not always go back to the original shipping location.
  • Choosing a Shipping Service: You can drop off the return package with any shipping company you prefer. For added security, we recommend using authorized UPS or FedEx Service Centers as they provide tracking and insurance options.

Processing Your Return

  • Shipping Time: After dropping off your return, please allow 4-5 business days for the package to arrive at our designated location.
  • Refund Processing: Once our vendor partners receive and inspect your return, we will process your refund within 7 business days.

Policy For Opened Item Returns 

At, we understand that certain situations may warrant the return of opened products. These returns are subject to our discretion and the following conditions. 

  • Eligibility: Some opened products may be eligible for return within 30 days of purchase. To confirm if your product qualifies, please contact us directly.
  • Restocking Fee: For approved opened product returns, a 20% restocking fee will be applied. This fee compensates for the necessary inspection and repackaging processes, as does not resell returned items as new.
  • Shipping Insurance: We highly recommend insuring your return shipment with the carrier. cannot be held responsible for items that are damaged, lost, or stolen in transit back to the locations of our vendor partners.

Non-Returnable Opened Items

Certain products, once opened, cannot be returned due to their nature. These include:

  • Grow Tents
  • Extraction Equipment
  • Pressing Equipment (Jack Pucks)
  • Cones and Cone Filling Machines
  • Trimming Tools and Trimmers
  • Pest Control products
  • Nutrients/Fertilizers

Custom Built and Special Order Items

Products that are custom-built or specially ordered may not be returned unless they arrive defective or are damaged in transit. This includes products with custom cord lengths.

Defective Products

Within 30 Days of Purchase

At, we stand by the quality of our products. If you encounter a defective product within 30 days of your purchase, we will work with you to provide you with the most satisfactory outcome. 

  • Return Options: Should your product be defective, we offer three options:
    • Exchange for a new item.
    • Credit towards an alternative product.
    • Refund after the item is returned and inspected.
  • Exceptions: Please note that Grow Tents, Extraction Equipment, Pressing Equipment (Jack Pucks), Cones, Cone Filling Machines, Trimming Tools, Trimmers, Pest Control products, and Nutrients/Fertilizers are not eligible for credit if found defective.
  • Troubleshooting First: Before initiating a return due to operational failure, we encourage you to contact the manufacturer for assistance. Often, issues can be resolved through troubleshooting. This may include checking bulbs, wiring, surge protectors, and other such items.
  • Testing Before Return: It's important to thoroughly test the product before returning it as defective. If a returned item is tested and found to be fully operational, it will be sent back to you. In such cases, will not offer a replacement or refund. We highly recommend you troubleshoot and test your equipment thoroughly before deeming it defective and sending it back.

31 Days or More (Warranty Claim)

For products purchased from that become defective after 30 days, the resolution will fall under the manufacturer’s warranty, if applicable. Here’s what you need to know. 

  • Warranty Claims: After the initial 30-day return period, products are eligible only for repair or replacement as per the manufacturer’s warranty.
  • Warranty Coverage: Most products on come with a manufacturer’s warranty. It's important to understand that warranties are agreements between the buyer and the manufacturer. is not responsible for any warranty provided by manufacturers.
  • Warranty Process: In case of a warranty issue, you will need to deal directly with the manufacturer and follow their policies and timelines. We adhere to the manufacturer’s policies and will direct customers to contact them when necessary.
  • Manufacturer Requirements: Be aware that some manufacturers may require customers to pay postage for shipping items to and from them for warranty service. Others may offer repairs only, not replacements or refunds. In some cases, manufacturers require direct contact from the end-user for troubleshooting before processing a repair or replacement.
  • Responsibility of the Consumer: Before purchasing, it is your responsibility to understand and accept the warranty terms offered by the manufacturer.
  • Timeframe for Warranty Returns: Items that are returned outside of the manufacturer’s specified warranty period will not be accepted.

How To Request A Return On Defective Products

To initiate a return with Growcycle, you can choose from the following options.

Preparing Your Return

  • Original Packaging: Ensure the item is in its original manufacturer's packaging and place this inside a shipping box.
  • Label Removal: Remove or cover any previous shipping labels, stickers, or materials on the shipping box to prevent confusion. A black marker can be used to obscure any existing labels or barcodes.
  • Return Shipping Label: Securely attach the printed prepaid FedEx or UPS return shipping label to the outside of the sealed box.
  • Drop Off: Take your return to an authorized UPS or FedEx Service Center. Avoid using drop boxes. For the nearest authorized shipping location, visit or based on the provided return label.
  • Shipping Time: After dropping off your return at either UPS or FedEx, allow 4-5 business days for the package to reach our vendor partners.

Upon Receipt By Our Vendor Partners

  • Your return will undergo an inspection upon arrival.
  • Based on your indicated preference, we will process either a refund or replacement.

  • Refund Credit: The refund will be credited back to your original payment method within 2 business days of processing.
  • Bank Processing Time: Be aware that the time it takes for the refund to appear in your account as available funds may vary depending on your credit card company. This can take an additional 2-10 business days.
  • Coupons and Discounts: If your purchase involved a coupon or discount, the refund amount will reflect the discounted price you paid and will be issued to your original payment method.

Special Order Items

  • Definition: Special Order Items are those not available in the location of our vendor partners, but sourced from third-party suppliers upon order.
  • Refund Eligibility: These items are not eligible for a refund or replacement unless they arrive damaged or defective. Please check the product listing on, as Special Order items are clearly marked.

Damaged Items and Shipments in Transit

On rare occasions, products may be damaged during shipping. Here's how to handle such situations. 

If You Suspect Damage Upon Delivery

  • Refuse the Package: If you're present during delivery and notice damage, refuse to accept the package(s) from the driver. Make sure to note any visible damage on the delivery receipt.
  • Immediate Notification: If you're unable to refuse the damaged shipment, please contact immediately by email or phone.

Ground Packages

  • Inspection Time Frame: You must open and inspect ground packages within 72 hours of delivery.
  • Reporting Damage: If you discover damage, notify within this 72-hour window so we can report the claim and process a refund or replacement.
  • Conditions for Refund/Replacement: Refunds or replacements are contingent upon timely notification of damage, especially if the item(s) were signed for as received in good condition.

Freight Shipments

  • Inspection Upon Delivery: Freight (palletized) shipments require inspection upon delivery. If you see visible damage (like forklift holes, punctures, dents, or holes in packaging), refuse the shipment and note the damage on the delivery receipt.
  • If Damage is Discovered Post-Acceptance: Notify within 72 hours if the shipment was already accepted.
  • Signing the Freight Bill: If you sign the freight bill without noting damages, it's taken as acknowledgment of receiving the shipment in acceptable condition. This limits the possibility of filing a freight claim, and no reimbursement for freight charges, order costs, or other expenses will be provided by

Photographic Evidence reserves the right to request pictures of the outer packaging and the damaged product before proceeding with your claim.

Unauthorized Returns and Refused Shipments

Please be aware of our policy regarding shipments that are refused upon delivery. 

  • Responsibility for Charges: If you refuse a shipment for any reason other than it being damaged in transit or a shipping error on the part of, you will be responsible for the full freight charges and applicable fees for both the outbound and return shipment.
  • Restocking Fee: Additionally, a minimum restocking fee of 20% will be applied in these scenarios.

Order Cancellations

Cancellation Before Shipment

  • General Orders: Most orders can be canceled at any time before they are shipped. To cancel an order, please contact our Customer Service as soon as possible via email or phone. An order is only considered canceled once you receive a verbal or email confirmation from us that the shipment has been successfully stopped.
  • Made-to-Order Products: Some products on are made to order. If you cancel these orders after production has begun, a cancellation fee may apply.
  • Special Order Items may not be canceled at any stage.

Cancellation After Shipment

  • Shipped Orders: Once an order has shipped, either partially or completely, it is considered fulfilled. At this point, cancellation will require a return process, and the order may be subject to shipping and restocking fees.
  • Cancellation Process: If your order has already shipped and you wish to cancel, contact us immediately. The order is not deemed canceled until you receive confirmation from us that we were able to halt the shipment.

Accuracy of Information

  • Importance of Correct Information: Ensure your billing, shipping, and email addresses are accurate, and provide a working phone number. 
  • Any errors can lead to delays, cancellation, or undeliverability of your order and may incur restocking fees.

Exceptions and Rights

  • Growcycle’s Discretion: There are circumstances under which we might be unable to accept an order and must cancel it. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for reasons including but not limited to product availability, product recalls, Stop Sale orders as mandated by law, inaccuracies in product or pricing information, or issues identified by our fraud prevention team.
  • Additional Verification: We may require further information or verification before accepting an order. In such cases, we will contact you if part or all of your order is canceled or if additional information is necessary.
  • Cancellation After Payment: If your order is canceled after your credit card has been charged, a refund will be issued to the same card, minus a 3% credit card processing fee.
