Apply anytime the ground is not frozen. Milky Spore is organic and is not harmful to man, animals, beneficial insects, the environment and is even safe around waterways. The natural bacteria kills the grub stage of the Japanese beetle. Milky Spores donāt die, they multiply inside each grub and accumulate in the soil. Just one spore consumed by a grub will multiply into 3 billion new spores that are released back into the soil when the grub dies. When applied as directed Milky Spore, and its benefits, can last for up to 10 years. Requires one application. One 10oz container treats 2,500 sq. ft.
