Overview:

Humawet is a highly effective soil surfactant to combat water loss caused by winds, runoff, and drought conditions. This advanced formula aids in building a robust soil profile while retaining moisture in the plant's root zone, ensuring sustained plant health and growth. Enriched with humic acids, Humawet improves soil health immediately and provides long-term benefits, making it a vital addition to any soil management program.

Key Features:

  • Water Retention: Humawet significantly enhances the soil's ability to retain water, reducing the need for frequent irrigation and protecting plants from drought stress.
  • Soil Improvement: This high-grade soil penetrant and humate reduces soil crusting, loosens compacted clay soils, and aggregates sandy soils, facilitating better water and oxygen penetration to plant roots.
  • Microorganism Activity: Humawet contributes to a healthier soil environment by promoting the growth and activity of beneficial microorganisms.
  • Rapid LDS Relief: The effects on localized dry spots (LDS) are quickly noticeable, leading to healthier soil and turf, which are more resistant to diseases and insect infestations.

Description

Humawet: Advanced Soil Surfactant for Optimal Water Retention and Soil Health

Application Guidelines

Soil Water Movement:

  • Small Areas: Mix 1-2 teaspoons of Humawet per gallon of water. Apply liberally and follow with hand watering or irrigation.
  • Large Areas: Apply 32-64 ounces of Humawet in 50-80 gallons of water per acre every two to four weeks. Use spray nozzles with larger droplet sizes to enhance soil contact and reduce spray drift. Several initial applications at 64 ounces per acre may be necessary for sandy soils to achieve optimal water management.

Foliar Absorption:

  • Use Humawet to enhance the absorption rates of foliar fertilizers, systemic herbicides, and similar solutions. Add 16 ounces of Humawet per acre to the solution. Always conduct a jar test to ensure compatibility with other products.

Root Drench:

  • For soil-drenching applications, mix 16 ounces of Humawet per 100 gallons of water. For trees and shrubs, apply the solution under the drip line. If mixing with other products, conduct a jar test to ensure compatibility.

Benefits:

  • Moisture Retention: Retains moisture in the root zone, conserving water and reducing irrigation frequency.
  • Improved Drainage: Enhances soil drainage and reduces compaction, allowing for better air and water movement.
  • Soil Aeration: Opens up macropores in the soil, improving soil aeration and reducing plant stress.
  • Long-Term Soil Health: Provides lasting benefits to turf and plants, making them healthier and more resilient.
  • High-Grade Humates: Supplies the soil with high-quality humates, increasing organic matter and soil fertility.
  • Easy Application: Simple to mix and apply, making it convenient for various soil and plant management practices.

Conclusion:

Humawet is a comprehensive solution for addressing water loss and improving soil health. Its ability to retain moisture, enhance soil structure, and support beneficial microorganisms makes it an invaluable tool for gardeners, landscapers, and turf managers. Humawet ensures healthier, more resilient plants and soil, even under challenging environmental conditions.
