Conductor construction is soft drawn bare copper meeting the requirements of ASTM Specification B-3. Gauge sizes 14 and 10 are solid copper conductors. Sizes 8 thru 6 are stranded conductors. All ground wires are solid. The insulation is a color coded THWN-2 type for wet, dry or corrosive applications of up to 600 volts and conductor temperatures up to 60 C. The outer jacket is a sunlight resistant, high quality polyvinylchloride (PVC). The UF ”“ B 2 Conductor w/ Ground jacketed cable is constructed in accordance with Underwriters Laboratories, Inc. standards UL83 and UL493.
