Conductor construction is soft drawn bare copper meeting the requirements of ASTM Specification B-3. The 18 awg conductors are solid copper. The insulation is a color coded high quality polyvinylchloride (PVC) for systems applications of up to 30 volts and conductor temperatures up to 75 C. The outer jacket is low density, high molecular weight polyethylene (PE) with a nylon cord and is sunlight resistant. The Multi Conductor Irrigation Control Cable is constructed in accordance with Underwriters Laboratories, Inc.
