Description

The Bluelab PeriPod M3 is an intelligent and automated system that assists growers in controlling the pH, levels of nutrient levels, and water or hydroponic solution levels. This will help yield better crops and improve overall plant health. It's particularly effective for commercial, as well as hobbyist growers who want to keep the best possible growing environment with the least amount of work.

Key Features

There are a few key features of the Bluelab PeriPod M3 that make it an asset to growers in their quest for accurate and effective nutrient management.

  • Triple Pump System - The Bluelab PeriPod M3 is made up of three peristaltic pumps. One pump is for pH adjusters, and the other two are for nutrient solutions. Individual pumps each offering 120 ml per minute dosing, give the precision and control user need to supply the plants' needs for both nutrients and pH to be maintained in the adjustable ranges.
  • Easy Integration with Bluelab Pro Controller - The PeriPod M3 is compatible with the Bluelab Pro Controller to control the nutrient and pH levels in solution automatically. This system can also be operated remotely with the Bluelab Connect app, allowing the growers to look after the plants from anywhere.
  • Precise Calibration - PeriPod M3 pumps are user-calibratable so users can calibrate them to the thickness (viscosity) of various nutrient solutions. This will guarantee that the dosing is correct and that it works regardless of what nutrient mix we are using.
  • Expandable System - The PeriPod M3 is expandable to multiple units for larger installations. That’s because growers are able to fabricate a personal dosing system of their choosing and can have up to a total of 12 pumps, something that works well for plants that have a higher-grade nutrient requirement.
  • Space-Saving and Durable Design - The PeriPod M3 is a wall mount version to free up space in grow rooms. It has also fan cooled operation for resistance to break downs. It has opaque tubing to prevent algae growth and allows for the unit to operate at its optimal level.

Benefits for Growers

The Bluelab PeriPod M3 offers many benefits to growers by providing convenience, accuracy, and efficiency in nutrient management.

  • Automated Precision - Thanks to the Bluelab PeriPod M3, growers are no longer required to manually change the pH and nutrient partition solution. This automatic dosing system allows for proper dosage of nutrients and pH adjustments at all times, for healthier plants, better growth and higher yields.
  • Remote Monitoring - Used in conjunction with the Bluelab Pro Controller and the Bluelab Connect app, the PeriPod M3 enables remote management of the system from wherever the user may be. This is especially useful for growers with multiple growing sites, or allows them to keep an eye on the system while away from the garden.
  • Cost-Effective Maintenance - The PeriPod M3 is made to be robust and its pumps and tubing are replaceable if necessary. This helps prolong the life of the system and keeps long-term maintenance costs to a minimum.
  • Scalable System - For larger grow room situations, the M3 unit can be expanded with additional units. This allows to set up a personalized multipoint dosage system according to the needs of specific crops.

Summary

The Bluelab PeriPod™ M3 is the premier choice for automatic control of plant roots. It is precise, scalable, and easy to use, so well-suited for any size of grower. It is modular and can be scaled as needed, thus accommodating some of the most demanding growing arrangements. With smart technology and an intuitive interface, the PeriPod M3 is an indispensable tool for serious growers who want to get the most out of their plants with as little effort as possible.

About Us

Grand Hydro Solutions

Grand Hydro Solutions is the fastest growing marketplace of horticulture, organics, hydroponics, and lighting supplies. Our mission is to give growers, farmers and cultivators all the tools they need to efficiently and successfully manage their growing operations.

Grand Hydro Solutions offers a wide array of products for cannabis growers including grow lights, hydroponics, and grow tents. We believe the best grower deserves the best equipment, that’s why we offer a variety of hydroponics and growing equipment to suit their needs, all at the most competitive prices.

In order to grow the perfect cannabis crop, there are a few key factors that must be taken into account, including the environment, soil, water, pests and diseases.

Airflow

Proper airflow is essential for preventing mold and mildew growth as well as pests like spider mites. The best way to ensure good airflow is to have at least one fan in your grow room that is set on a timer to turn on and off throughout the day. You also want to make sure that there are no dead spots in your grow room where air is not circulating properly.

Light

Cannabis plants require light to photosynthesize and produce energy. The amount of light your plants need depends on the stage of growth they are in as well as the type of light you are using (e.g., HPS, LED, fluorescent).

Humidity

If humidity is too high, it can lead to mold and mildew growth. If humidity is too low, the leaves may begin to dry out and curl. Again, each cannabis strain has a different ideal humidity range, so make sure to do your research before setting up your grow operation.

Water

The quality of the water you use to grow your cannabis crop is extremely important. The best water for growing cannabis is pure, clean water that has been filtered or distilled even though distilled water does have some downsides because of a lack of minerals. Keep in mind that impurities in the water can cause problems with the growth and development of your plants.

In general, cannabis plants need about one gallon of water per day. However, the amount of water your plants will need will vary depending on the size and type of plant, the climate, and the soil type. You should always check the soil before watering to make sure it is not too wet or too dry. Overwatering can lead to problems with root rot and nutrient deficiencies, while underwatering can stress your plants and cause them to produce fewer buds.

Pests

Pests are one of the most common problems that growers face when trying to produce a perfect cannabis crop. There are a wide variety of pests that can attack cannabis plants, including aphids, spider mites, whiteflies, and thrips. These pests can cause damage to the leaves, stems, and flowers of the plant, which can lead to reduced yields. In severe cases, pests can even destroy the plant.

There are a number of ways to prevent pests from attacking your cannabis crop. One of the most important things you can do is to keep your grow area clean and free of debris. This will help to reduce the chances of pests being able to take up residence in your grow room, facility, or greenhouse. You should also regularly inspect your plants for signs of pest activity, such as webbing or small holes in leaves. If you do find evidence of pests, you'll need to take quick action to eradicate them before they cause serious damage.

There are a number of effective pesticides that can be used to control pests on cannabis plants. However, it's important to remember that not all pesticides are created equal. Some products may be more effective against certain types of pests than others. Additionally, some pesticides may be more harmful to humans and animals than others. Therefore, it is important to do your research before using any type of pesticide on your cannabis crop.

Diseases

Manifestation of diseases is another common problem faced by growers trying to produce a perfect cannabis crop. There are a wide variety of diseases that can affect cannabis plants, including powdery mildew, root rot, and botrytis (gray mold). In severe cases, diseases can kill the plant outright.

There are a number of ways to prevent diseases from affecting your cannabis crop. One of the most important things you can do is to choose disease-resistant strains when possible. In addition, you should maintain strict hygiene practices in your grow operation in order to prevent the spread of disease-causing organisms. You should also regularly inspect your plants for signs of disease activity, such as discolored leaves or stunted growth.

Harvest

The timing of the harvest is critical to the quality of the final product. Cannabis should be harvested when the THC levels are at their peak. This can be determined by testing the buds with a THC test kit (available at most grow shops).

Storage

Once harvested, cannabis should be dried and cured properly in order to preserve its potency and flavor. Drying should be done slowly, in a dark, cool, and dry place. Curing is done by storing the dried buds in airtight containers. This allows the buds to “off-gas” any remaining moisture and chlorophyll, resulting in a smoother consumption experience.
