Description

The Gavita Master Controller EL3 is designed to monitor and regulate the light output. This is the new controller generation and provides powerful tools for lighting management. The EL3 allows for tailoring lighting schedules and conditions to plants for optimal growth.

Key Features

The Gavita Master Controller EL3 is a very advanced, but easy to use controller for lighting and helping to care for the environment to maximise the best plants.

Lighting Control for Every Need

The Gavita Master Controller EL3 lets greenhouse maximizers control their lighting with the same light cycles as the sun. The most notable features of it are:

  • Sunrise/Sunset Dimming: This function can adjust the intensity of light gradually and simulate a natural sunrise and sunset, allowing plants to grow more naturally.
  • High-Temperature Dimming & Shut-Off: If the temperature is above the set point, the controller automatically dims the light or switches the heater off to avoid damage to the plants.
  • Spray Mode: For foliar applications, the controller lowers the light intensity for a short duration to prevent burning the leaves.

Dual-Zone Management for Flexibility

The EL3 is ideal for growers who want to keep two zones with different light schedule regulations. That is perfect for any prospective grower who has both different life stages and separate room conditions. For instance, one zone could have radiant lights adjusted for vegetative growth, while the other zone might be set for flowering. Being able to manage 512 fixtures in the two zones together really sets the EL3 apart as a superior large scale controller.

Environmental Monitoring for Better Growth

The Gavita Master Controller EL3 works with Titan Controls® environmental sensors (sold separately). These sensors monitor important factors like:

  • Volumetric Water Content (VWC): This measures soil moisture levels to make sure that plants receive the correct amount of water.
  • Electrical Conductivity (EC): A measure of the nutrient level in the soil or solution.
  • Vapor Pressure Deficit (VPD): Useful for humidity control and should avoid stress from too low or too high moisture content in the air.

User-Friendly Interface

The Gavita Master Controller EL3 has an 8 inch touchscreen display. Through this interface, the farmer can set a schedule, monitor performance and make adjustments with a few taps of the screen. It’s made to be user friendly, meaning anyone can operate their lights.

The EL3 also has USB update support so user can keep the firmware and feature-upgraded. This will keep the controller current with the latest in technology.

Built-In Protection for Plants

This EL3 includes built-in dimming and shut-off features for safe use, keeping plants from stressing in extreme environments. For instance, if the temperature gets too hot, the controller will dim the lights or turn them off to avoid heat stress. Growers can establish alarm notifications to inform them when the predetermined conditions are exceeded or when the conditions return to normal, enabling a timely response.

What’s Included

When buying the Gavita Master Controller EL3, people will get:

  • The Gavita Master Controller EL3 is the controller unit.
  • Easy to install with mounting plate and hardware included.
  • Set up the power adapter and communication cables.
  • Software updates via USB flash drive.
  • Titan Sensor Adapter Cable for environmental sensors.
  • Instructional overlays to lead the user through the setup process.

Summary

For the grower who’s demanding and wants the very best control for their plants, Gavita Master Controllers are the professional choice. And because it can handle both the lighting schedule and elements of the environment (humidity, soil moisture), it's a flexible tool for boosting plant growth.

With an array of powerful features, a user-friendly interface and the ability to monitor environmental devices, the EL3 can do it all to help growers achieve the best yields and healthy plants.

About Us

Grand Hydro Solutions

Grand Hydro Solutions is the fastest growing marketplace of horticulture, organics, hydroponics, and lighting supplies. Our mission is to give growers, farmers and cultivators all the tools they need to efficiently and successfully manage their growing operations.

Grand Hydro Solutions offers a wide array of products for cannabis growers including grow lights, hydroponics, and grow tents. We believe the best grower deserves the best equipment, that’s why we offer a variety of hydroponics and growing equipment to suit their needs, all at the most competitive prices.

In order to grow the perfect cannabis crop, there are a few key factors that must be taken into account, including the environment, soil, water, pests and diseases.

Airflow

Proper airflow is essential for preventing mold and mildew growth as well as pests like spider mites. The best way to ensure good airflow is to have at least one fan in your grow room that is set on a timer to turn on and off throughout the day. You also want to make sure that there are no dead spots in your grow room where air is not circulating properly.

Light

Cannabis plants require light to photosynthesize and produce energy. The amount of light your plants need depends on the stage of growth they are in as well as the type of light you are using (e.g., HPS, LED, fluorescent).

Humidity

If humidity is too high, it can lead to mold and mildew growth. If humidity is too low, the leaves may begin to dry out and curl. Again, each cannabis strain has a different ideal humidity range, so make sure to do your research before setting up your grow operation.

Water

The quality of the water you use to grow your cannabis crop is extremely important. The best water for growing cannabis is pure, clean water that has been filtered or distilled even though distilled water does have some downsides because of a lack of minerals. Keep in mind that impurities in the water can cause problems with the growth and development of your plants.

In general, cannabis plants need about one gallon of water per day. However, the amount of water your plants will need will vary depending on the size and type of plant, the climate, and the soil type. You should always check the soil before watering to make sure it is not too wet or too dry. Overwatering can lead to problems with root rot and nutrient deficiencies, while underwatering can stress your plants and cause them to produce fewer buds.

Pests

Pests are one of the most common problems that growers face when trying to produce a perfect cannabis crop. There are a wide variety of pests that can attack cannabis plants, including aphids, spider mites, whiteflies, and thrips. These pests can cause damage to the leaves, stems, and flowers of the plant, which can lead to reduced yields. In severe cases, pests can even destroy the plant.

There are a number of ways to prevent pests from attacking your cannabis crop. One of the most important things you can do is to keep your grow area clean and free of debris. This will help to reduce the chances of pests being able to take up residence in your grow room, facility, or greenhouse. You should also regularly inspect your plants for signs of pest activity, such as webbing or small holes in leaves. If you do find evidence of pests, you'll need to take quick action to eradicate them before they cause serious damage.

There are a number of effective pesticides that can be used to control pests on cannabis plants. However, it's important to remember that not all pesticides are created equal. Some products may be more effective against certain types of pests than others. Additionally, some pesticides may be more harmful to humans and animals than others. Therefore, it is important to do your research before using any type of pesticide on your cannabis crop.

Diseases

Manifestation of diseases is another common problem faced by growers trying to produce a perfect cannabis crop. There are a wide variety of diseases that can affect cannabis plants, including powdery mildew, root rot, and botrytis (gray mold). In severe cases, diseases can kill the plant outright.

There are a number of ways to prevent diseases from affecting your cannabis crop. One of the most important things you can do is to choose disease-resistant strains when possible. In addition, you should maintain strict hygiene practices in your grow operation in order to prevent the spread of disease-causing organisms. You should also regularly inspect your plants for signs of disease activity, such as discolored leaves or stunted growth.

Harvest

The timing of the harvest is critical to the quality of the final product. Cannabis should be harvested when the THC levels are at their peak. This can be determined by testing the buds with a THC test kit (available at most grow shops).

Storage

Once harvested, cannabis should be dried and cured properly in order to preserve its potency and flavor. Drying should be done slowly, in a dark, cool, and dry place. Curing is done by storing the dried buds in airtight containers. This allows the buds to “off-gas” any remaining moisture and chlorophyll, resulting in a smoother consumption experience.
