Description
Aphidend is a highly effective biological pest control solution specifically designed for combating a wide range of aphid species. It is recommended to use Aphidend as soon as aphid colonies are detected, ensuring early intervention for effective pest management.
Application of Aphidend involves opening the bottle in the greenhouse environment.
The bottle can be placed directly on the soil or hung between plants using a Biotag, which helps keep it out of reach of ants. It is important not to scatter the contents of the bottle. Once hatched, the gall midges contained within will emerge and disperse, actively seeking out aphid colonies to control.
Each bottle of Aphidend is designed to cover approximately 3,000 square meters. The 500 ml bottle introduces a minimum of three gall midges per square meter, ensuring thorough and effective coverage. To track the application areas, the peel-off label provided with the product can be used to mark where Aphidend has been introduced.
