Chrysopa - Natural Enemies

Chrysopa, a biological control agent, is supplied in the form of larvae embedded in a carrier material. Upon receipt, the containers should be placed in a cool, shaded area until ready for use.

Instructions for Use:

• Avoid exposing the containers to direct sunlight.
• When ready for application, open the container inside the greenhouse.
• Release the larvae directly onto identified aphid colonies.
• Ensure that any carrier material remains on the plant initially; if it falls to the floor immediately, many larvae may be lost.
• Note that the larvae are cannibalistic if confined together without food.
• Hanging baskets are effective in distributing this product.

Storage and Transport:

• Transport and store in darkness at 6-10°C.
• Keep the containers out of direct sunlight.
• Store in a horizontal position.
• Use within 18 hours of receipt.
