Shop for Hunter Rotory Nozzle, MPR30 Light Green For the Hunter PGP Ultra and I-20 rotors Includes 4 nozzle choices 29' - 30' radius Features and Benefits The matched precipitation rate (MPR) of a sprinkler is used to calculate the uniformity of water delivered to a given area. To be “matched,” all sprinkler heads in a zone must have the same precipitation rate. There are two ways to achieve matched precipitation: 1) by matching the flow of a standard rotor to its arc and reducing the range accordingly (e.g., 1 gallon at 90°, 2 gallons at 180°, or 4 gallons at 360°), or 2) by using MPR nozzles. Maximize Water Savings and Simplify Irrigation Design with MPR Nozzles. Hunter MPR nozzles simplify the irrigation design process by allowing sprinklers with various arcs and radii to be mixed on the same circuit while maintaining even water distribution rates. These color-coded nozzle racks are available in three radius ranges: 25', 30', and 35'. Each rack includes a nozzle for use on a quarter-, third-, half-, and full-circle pattern. The precipitation rate is the same across the area, regardless of the arc, as long as the correct nozzle is selected for the pattern. The primary benefit of MPR nozzles is to prevent wasteful runoff while ensuring uniform application of water over the irrigated area.
