Select sunny or partially shaded location with well-drained soil, and plant outdoors after all danger of frost is past. For earlier blossoms, start indoors 6-8 weeks before last frost. May also be started during the Summer for blossoms early the following Spring. Cultivate soil and firm over seed, keeping it moist. Store seed in a cool, dry place. Heat and moisture can severely reduce germination.
