Petite marigolds grow to only 6-8" tall, but have beautiful, small, button-like flowers in shades of yellow. Because of their size, they are ideal in borders, boxes and containers.
Select a location with "at least" a half day of sunlight and plant after all danger of frost is past. For earlier blossoms, sow indoors 4 to 6 weeks before last frost. Soil should be cultivated and enriched with flower food. Firm soil over seed. Store seed in a cool, dry place. Heat and moisture can severely reduce germination.
