Description
Wetsel Seedâ„¢ Kentucky Wonder Brown Pole Garden Beans Seed
10g Packet
This pole bean plant has a magnificent dark green color and has a high yield. This type of bean grows easily in all parts of the country and tastes great when eaten fresh; or can be canned or frozen when the pods are young.
Select sunny location and plant when all danger of frost is past, and the soil has warmed. For best results, loosen soil with spade or fork, fertilize with vegetable food and smooth with rake. Firm soil over seed and keep moist. Bush types can be planted every 3 weeks. Support pole beans with stout poles, trellis, string, or wire. Water by soaking soil, to reduce danger of disease. Pick regularly when pods are 4-6 in./10-15 cm., before sides bulge.
