These delicious, tender golden beets are 2-3" round and have a sweet mild flavor. They make a great addition to salads or any meal by bringing its vibrant color to any dish. Select sunny, well-drained location and sow seed as soon as the ground can be worked. Repeat at 3 week intervals until late summer. For best results, loosen soil with spade or fork, fertilize with vegetable food and smooth with rake. Great in containers and sunny flower beds. Firm soil over seed. Keep soil moist, weed free, and apply vegetable food every 4 weeks. Pull individual plants when roots are about 2 in./5 cm. across.
