Description
Wetsel Seedâ„¢ Burpee Improved Lima Beans Seed
1lb
This variety grows 3-5 large, pale beans in each pod. This popular bean produces massive yields with easy to shell pods.
Select sunny location and plant when all danger of frost is past, and the soil has warmed. For best results, loosen soil with spade or fork, fertilize with vegetable food and smooth with rake. Firm soil over seed and keep moist. Plant bush types every 3 weeks. Support pole beans with stout poles, trellis, string, or wire. Water by soaking soil, to reduce danger of disease. For fresh limas, pick as soon as beans begin to fill pod. To dry, leave pods on plants until partially dry, then pull plants and hang in a warm, dry, airy place until dry.
