This variety produces high yields of dark green, slightly ridged, tapered pods that can reach up to 8 inches in length. The pods can be fried or boiled and great for stews or soups.
Select a sunny location and sow seeds after last frost and the ground warms. For earlier crop, start indoors. Cultivate soil and enrich with vegetable food. Firm soil over seed. Keep soil moist, clean, and feed every 4 weeks. Pick pods when tender and young (1-3 in./3-8 cm.). Remove overripe pods to maintain plants vigor.
