This early maturing okra should be harvested when the pods reach a length of 3-5 inches. At this length, the bright green pods are most crip and tender.
Select a sunny location and sow seeds after last frost and the ground warms. For earlier crop, start indoors. Cultivate soil and enrich with vegetable food. Firm soil over seed. Keep soil moist, clean, and feed every 4 weeks. Pick pods when tender and young (1-3 in./3-8 cm.). Remove overripe pods to maintain plants vigor.
