Efficient storage of freezer-dried food is achieved by sealing mylar bags with oxygen absorbers enclosed within. The 5mm-wide impulse sealer ensures a secure seal, with its dial adjusted to match the thickness of the mylar bag. If sealing proves challenging, simply increase the dial setting until a satisfactory seal is achieved. To verify the seal, gently tug on it; it should resist being pulled apart. For added strength, consider double sealing, but avoid resealing in the same spot to prevent damage to the mylar bag.

Crafted from 7.0mm food-grade material, the mylar bags effectively block oxygen and moisture, safeguarding the contents. Before sealing, insert a 300cc oxygen absorber into a 1-gallon mylar bag to minimize oxygen presence, eliminating the need for vacuum sealing. These absorbers play a crucial role in protecting packaged food from spoilage, mold, color deterioration, nutrient loss, insect infestation, and quality degradation. For optimal oxygen removal, it's recommended to use all absorbers from an opened package.
