The NIBCO® PEX lead free bronze adapter is designed for use with NIBCO® PEX in potable water and radiant heating systems. The brass adapter is made of lead-free* Performance Bronze™ alloy and features a PEX x male iron pipe end connection. This fitting provides a means of adapting a threaded connection to a PEX connection. Please refer to NIBCO technical data sheets and catalogs for engineering and installation information. NIBCO® PEX fittings are lightweight, easy to install and maintenance-free. Joining can be accomplished with NIBCO copper crimp ring, copper sleeves, or stainless steel sleeves. The NIBCO® PEX system requires fewer fittings than traditional rigid plumbing systems resulting in fewer potential leak paths. NIBCO® PEX tubing, fittings, valves and manifolds are designed to be used as a complete system and are backed by a NIBCO INC. limited warranty.
