The pro-flextm male fitting provides a transition between pro-flex tubing [pro-flex yellow CSST or flakjacket arc-resistant CSST] and other piping system components [rigid pipe, valves, manifolds, etc. All pro-flex male fittings have outer threads [MIP] that are the same size as the nominal pipe size and are also tapped inside to the next smaller female [FIP] thread. Example: pro-flex 1/2" male fittings are 1/2" pro-flex x 1/2" MIP and are also tapped to 3/8" FIP.
