Regency's UF - B jacketed cable is manufactured for the purpose of direct burial power wire applications in accordance with the National Electric Code. Conductor construction is soft drawn bare copper meeting the requirements of ASTM Specification B-3. Gauge sizes 14 and 10 are solid copper conductors. Sizes 8 thru 6 are stranded conductors. All ground wires are solid. The insulation is a color-coded THWN-2 type for wet, dry or corrosive applications of up to 600 V and conductor temperatures up to 60° C. The outer jacket is a sunlight-resistant, high quality PVC. The UF - B 2 conductor with ground jacketed cable is constructed in accordance with Underwriters Laboratories, Inc. standards UL83 and UL493.
