Description
Isarid is best used at the first signs of a pest attack, with a minimum of three applications at 5-7 day intervals or more frequently in severe infestations.
How Isarid Works:
Isarid's spores attach to the bodies of insect pests upon contact and begin growing almost immediately. Once the spore germ tube penetrates the host cuticle, fungal multiplication occurs, forming hyphal bodies within the host. The NOFLY™ microbe mechanically disrupts the host's internal organs, leading to tissue necrosis, lack of feeding, inactivity, and eventual death.
How to Use Isarid:
- Isarid can be applied to vegetables, ornamentals, herbs, and medicinal plants in greenhouses or indoor growing facilities.
- It is also suitable for agricultural crops such as strawberries, blueberries, citrus fruits, cucumbers, peppers, and tomatoes.
- Apply at the first signs of pest presence.
- Can be applied using a Dramm® Cold Fogger.
- Treat all areas of the plant where the insect feeds, hatches, and lives.
- Apply at a rate of 2 lbs per acre.
- Isarid can be applied at any stage of the crop cycle, including at harvest.
Important Notes:
- Not recommended for use with pulse or heat-generating foggers.
- For heavy infestations, consider combining Isarid with a standard pest control method.
