The Buffalo Waterfront Condo stands as a stunning representation of modern elegance combined with functional design, tailored specifically for a family that loves to entertain. The primary focus of this project was to create a kitchen that not only serves as a cooking space but also as a central gathering point for family and friends. To achieve this, Julie Deuble of Artisan Kitchens & Baths at Appliance Associates meticulously crafted a design that harmonizes style and utility, overcoming the challenges presented by the high-rise setting. The kitchen's layout was thoughtfully considered to ensure that it opens seamlessly into the living room, allowing for an inviting atmosphere. Custom cabinetry plays a pivotal role in the aesthetic, featuring intricate three-stage crown molding and mullion doors that add depth and character. The centerpiece of the kitchen is a table-style peninsula, supported by decorative legs, which enhances the space for casual dining and social interactions. This peninsula also boasts full-height cabinet doors equipped with push-to-open hardware, providing an unobtrusive, clean look that maintains the kitchen's polished appearance. Incorporating high-end appliances was a significant challenge due to the limited space. Deuble skillfully integrated a 48-inch pro-style range, ensuring proper venting and functionality without compromising on design. To maintain a cohesive look, custom panels were crafted to seamlessly cover the refrigerator, dishwasher drawers, and refrigerator drawers, thus eliminating the visual clutter often associated with large appliances. A microwave and TV were cleverly housed within matching wall cabinets, further blending practicality with style. The kitchen's design culminates in an entertainment center that includes dedicated storage for wine and liquor, perfectly aligning with the homeowners' lifestyle. Each detail, from the choice of materials to the craftsmanship involved, reflects a commitment to quality and design excellence.
