Notchwood Landscape Waterfalls and Ponds Notchwood Landscape the premier landscapes company located in Northern New Jersey recently released 'Waterfalls and Ponds' where they showcased how they turned a clients boring backyard into a tranquil nature friendly oasis from water. A beautiful, multi-tier waterfall flowing into a calming pond was the main focal point of this and provided a relaxing atmosphere. The design used locally sourced natural stone boulders to create an authentic look that best blends harmoniously with the natural boulders in the environment. Working with a certified landscape designer, our experts leveled and contoured the uneven land to create a natural flow for the water features. Crystal-clear water was achieved by installing high-quality pond liners and filtration systems, making the pond look aesthetically pleasing and a sustainable ecosystem for water creatures. Along with the main functional features, lush native plantings were incorporated the pond to provide habitat for native wildlife and seasonal blooms. Native plants that not only complement the water elements, but contribute to biodiversity, and need little upkeep. The final product was better than our client could ever expect, creating not just a beautiful retreat but a front row seat on the natural stage where family gatherings are reflected. All the bubbling waters made sounds which together with the gorgeous sight of the pond and rising beautiful in waterfall, changed this place into a nature's refuge.
