Steps by Notchwood Landscape Taken its from the beautiful rock outcrop feature, the 'Steps' by Notchwood Landscape is a beautiful representation of our quality produce and craftsmanship in the northern trails of New Jersey. It was an ambitious but exciting challenge, taking a steep, undulating slope and creating a usable and inviting outdoor space. The Nat stepping stones were thoughtfully constructed by using locally sourced bluestone, which offered both a robust nature and good behavior with the surrounding area. In addition, the selection of non-slip tiles rich in aesthetic made the final result formal and safe for the clients and any visiting friends. The steps needed to seamlessly integrate into the existing landscape presented a challenge to our team. It required careful planning to ensure proper drainage and control erosion so that we did not undermine the hillside. We also included native plantings along the sides of the steps for additional aesthetics and local biodiversity. The end result was nothing other than spectacular. The steps now form a beautiful centerpiece leading visitors into an artistic garden feature with blooming flowers, greenery, and outdoor art pieces. The client was pleased as punch with the results and excited how well the new feature worked and looked. The result of this not only improved the value of the property but also created an inviting environment in which the family can enjoy their outdoor space to the fullest extent.
