Profile Pics by Brio Landscaping Brio Landscaping is excited to present 'Profile Pics,' a landscape overhaul that ultimately transformed the outdoor living experience for Elk Grove and the surrounding communities of Galt, Herald, Rancho Murieta, Sacramento, Sloughhouse, Vineyard, and Wilton. This all-inclusive landscaping was modeled to not only beautify the property, but provide a place that reflects the personality of the homeowner, making the outdoors a welcoming place to be. This redesign incorporated a mixture of native and nonnative landscaping, hardscape materials, and use of design style and elements. The drought-resistant plants are meant to provide sustainable landscapes with little maintenance, while also including a diverse range of color and texture becoming more vibrant with each season. This is adorned with ornamental grasses, flowering perennials and evergreen selections known for their durability and beauty. The patio was a custom design that utilized natural stone pavers as the main hardscape material to create a modern and inviting space for gathering and relaxing while benefiting from the surrounding landscape. Along with the patio we added walking paths made with crushed granite that helped navigate visitors throughout the lush garden while showcasing large landscape boulders that helped define plant spaces while adding visual interest and depth. Although challenges arose during the such as inconsistent soil conditions and existing drainage conditions on the property, the Brio Landscaping team overcome them through innovation and expert understanding of path and landscape drainage which added sustainability and prevented water pooling. Not only did our attention to the improve the landscape aesthetic, but it also protected plant health. The end result of Profile Pics was a beautiful outdoor living space that the client, their family and friends were excited to enjoy. The proved artistic vision, quality work and ecological approach to craft a space that is truly Brio Landscaping.
