Rancho Mirage Garden Rancho Mirage Garden is a multi-function landscape designed and built by The Office of Jeffrey F. Gamboni. Located in California, the garden displays the interweaving of native ecology through sustainable design and creates artwork that speaks to the senses and draws people outdoors. Rancho Mirage Garden showcases plants that use little to no water, planted closely together to create a lush and reduced maintenance garden. Attention to detail is displayed with the use of products such as local stone throughout pathways and custom-decking created from timber for a durable feel, as well as products sourced for their organic feel with the surrounding landscape, and functionality. A serene water feature mimicking a natural spring adds visual interest to a large variety of all-season plants while creating a soothing and welcoming environment. We were faced with a unique site challenge due to the topography and area having very low water availability. We utilized multiple tiers of garden beds and retaining walls to create usable space while allowing for gravity and drainage. We improved the aesthetics of the landscape but also the function and health of the plants that could take advantage of their newly designed gardens. The final result is a stunning outdoor retreat that allows for beautiful and functional space for our clients to enjoy. This embodies The Office of Jeffrey F.
