Front Courtyard Entry Mirror Lake Designs The d 'Front Courtyard Entry' is by Mirror Lake Designs, located in Houston, and exemplifies our pursuit of quality and client satisfaction beyond just great landscaping. This took a previously lame entryway and turned it into a beautiful feature that is both functional and beautiful. We started by performing an in-depth investigation of the existing site, understanding its weaknesses, including poor drainage and very little sunlight. Fresh plantings of trees, shrubs, and flowering plants linked by a porous paver terrace to improve visual continuity and to solve drainage problems. Natural stone slabs at the entrance create a subtle elegance while blending with the surroundings. We included many native plants that grow well in the local environment such as ornamental grasses and shrubs that add color and fragrance. Which not only provides year-round colour but also increases biodiversity and attracts local pollinators. Utilizing vertical space, the custom-built trellis overflowing with green climbing vines offers a place for guests to linger in the shade enjoying the courtyard. Navigating through existing utility lines and uneven terrain long conflicted the , leaving little room for error. Our landscaping experts adeptly navigated these challenges and completed a seamless installation that preserved, and even improved, the delicate landscape surrounding it. The end result is a stunning entryway that showcases the homeowners style and boosts curb appeal.
