The Sirco Scape team created a site plan that incorporated native species to functionally steward sustainability while utilizing drought resistant species optimizing site conditions. Key design components included ornamental grasses, perennials and shrub plantings all with seasonal significance and functional utilization, as well as low maintenance. To manage the site feature of opening and closing slopes the landscape professionals used tiered garden design, creating natural stone retaining wall built from boulders found in the locality. The boulders provided structure and rustic aesthetic qualities that aligned with the surrounding landscape. The added a winding path of permeable pavers that allowed drainage management issues and provided a directional flow for visitors to experience the garden. A significant outcome of Key Cove Estates was an outdoor living space created specifically for the client. The primary focal point of this space is an outdoor patio deck of eco-friendly composite with enough space for gatherings. This unique space offers a built-in fire pit surrounded by comfortable seating and ambient lighting to provide a warm ambiance for evening experience.
