About This Project

The South Russell Master #2 project represents a significant transformation of a once cramped and outdated master bath into a spacious and elegant retreat. The previous layout presented numerous challenges, including a tiny, grimy shower, an overly tall tub that posed accessibility issues for the homeowners, and a crowded vanity area that lacked essential storage. Additionally, the presence of carpet on the bathroom floor not only detracted from the aesthetic appeal but also created maintenance challenges. In response to these concerns, the remodel focused on creating an open and airy environment, featuring a much larger walk-in shower that serves as the centerpiece of the space. This luxurious shower is equipped with both a rain shower head and a handheld fixture, ensuring a versatile and enjoyable experience. Elegant quartz shelves, a built-in seat, and a curb enhance its functionality, while a custom heavy glass door adds a modern touch that beautifully complements the overall design. The choice of porcelain tiles with a marble look brightens the entire area, imbuing it with a sense of sophistication and timeless elegance. To address storage needs, the design incorporates two vanities, a linen cabinet, and a convenient johnny cabinet, significantly upgrading the bathroom's organizational capabilities. The cabinetry features StarMark Cabinetry in the Gallant Doorstyle, finished in Cherry Driftwood with a Chocolate Glaze, which adds warmth and character to the space. The closets were also meticulously reworked to provide ample storage, ensuring that every inch of the bathroom is both functional and visually appealing. The result is a stunning transitional bathroom that combines style and practicality, making it an ideal choice for homeowners seeking a balance of luxury and everyday usability.
