SOUTH RD. LANDSCAPING EARTH, TURF & BLOOMS Tucked away in the serene rolling hills of New Jersey, this stunning 'South Road' by Earth, Turf & Blooms exemplifies our dedication to quality, innovation, and client happiness. We turned this residential property in Basking Ridge, Bedminster and beyond a place where we continue to serve a diverse clientele into a peaceful sanctuary that seamlessly fits into the local environment. A multi-layered garden design, with native plants suitable for the local climate context was developed to create a sustainable low maintenance green space within the area. Our specific perennials, ornamental grasses and flowering shrubs provide interest each season, and are chosen for their ability to work in harmony with wildlife. Proprietary stone paths made from local bluestone traverse the garden in a three-dimensional rendering of the colors and textures of the plants, but they also provide access. The property featured a notoriously steep gradient, presenting some unique challenges for the . We built an additional set of boulder retaining walls to not only stabilize the landscape but also to add a touch of rustic beauty to the design with our talented masons. It formed terraced planting beds, making the most of the space, while improving drainage and soil quality. It all came together in a lovely balanced landscape that pleased our clients. Now they have a peaceful oasis, featuring a colorful butterfly garden and a sitting area ideal for some fresh air fun.
